I moved to Canada at the age of 17 with my parents. Since childhood, I have had a passion for innovative stationery and contemporary design. As a mother of two boys, I noticed how little is available in stationery products designed to stimulate creativity. Believing that our inner child never truly fades, I felt compelled to address the monotony of traditional agendas and journals. One day, I made the bold decision to leave my secure government job as a programmer analyst to launch the WAFF line of products. Inspired by the grid of my favorite dessert, waffles, I aimed to introduce a similar textured surface to the stationery world. In 2014, I appeared on Dragon’s Den seeking investment. Although the initial pitch was unsuccessful, the experience proved invaluable. Subsequently, WAFF gained significant recognition, including features in several parent-guide magazines and an endorsement from Oprah.
