I moved to Canada at the age of 17 with my parents. Since childhood, I have had a passion for innovative stationery and contemporary design. As a mother of two boys, I noticed how little is available in stationery products designed to stimulate creativity. Believing that our inner child never truly fades, I felt compelled to address the monotony of traditional agendas and journals. One day, I made the bold decision to leave my secure government job as a programmer analyst to launch the WAFF line of products. Inspired by the grid of my favorite dessert, waffles, I aimed to introduce a similar textured surface to the stationery world. In 2014, I appeared on Dragon’s Den seeking investment. Although the initial pitch was unsuccessful, the experience proved invaluable. Subsequently, WAFF gained significant recognition, including features in several parent-guide magazines and an endorsement from Oprah. Our journals offer boundless creativity through their unique design. Crafted from durable, eco-friendly silicone, they are reusable and easy to clean. Our Museum has had a 4-year relationship with this vendor ordering once a month. During the sale, we placed a large order. A mixed selection was pictured with many colors that were not available otherwise.. pink, lavender.. and we received black grey, and dark orange. We are a children's museum and need colorful items. The vendor refused to exchange. I would not partner with this company. We will move on. Thank you, Faire. They accepted our return.
