About Cassette Optics

The Cassette Company began in 2011 surrounded by the many outdoor arenas available in Idaho. The idea was created within a local snowboard and skate shop, where a serious need was identified. That need was for an optics company that provided reasonably priced products that still offered the styling and high-quality features customers expect to find when they buy over-priced sunglasses. And so The Cassette Company was founded. By doing so it began filling a huge void in the sunglasses industry. Cassette is an excellent alternative to the overpriced eyewear available today. Large corporate companies have controlled the sunglasses industry by keeping the prices artificially high. By using the same factories that many of the large corporate companies use, Cassette is able to keep its quality on par with them. Cassette uses the finest materials available; such as polycarbonate lenses, the finest wood available in the Wood and Mixed line, and its environmentally-friendly acetate throughout the entire product line. Everyone knows that using the best materials is a way to produce the finest eyewear. However, Cassette also knows that staying true to the beliefs on which it was founded has been its key to success, and plans to keep it that way.
