Byrne & Bittle became an instant favorite in the childrenswear world after launching their first collection this past September. The brand encapsulates a feeling of European countryside and has an instant feeling of a classic brand (as noted by Harper’s Bazaar in reference to their corduroy skirt in the first collection). Based in New York City, the brand’s founder, Kristen Callahan, recognized a need in the US for sophisticated and stylish children’s clothing, such as that she found when traveling in Europe. Utilizing her know-how from a career working for some of the top luxury fashion houses in the world, she curated a collection focused on super soft fabrics and special details. The result is a timeless, refined wardrobe for little ones. Byrne & Bittle has all the makings of a top luxury fashion brand, but on a foundation of playfulness and nostalgia. Moreover, the product was notably appreciated for the super soft fabrics and luxurious details incorporated subtly throughout the collection.
