House of Word is premium instant coffee created with a first-of-its-kind instant cold brew process, sustainably-sourced beans and ready to brew anywhere you go. House of Word uses only premium, sustainably-sourced beans from small farms in the Western Ghats of South India, where its cultivation supports a wide range of flora and fauna. Grown in the shade of pepper plants—infusing it with a unique flavor profile and aroma—our full-bodied, medium roast coffee boasts notes of chocolate and caramel. Whether you take it hot or as a cold brew, it makes for a smooth, concentrated cup. At House of Word, we strive to not only make great coffee—but great coffee with an even greater impact. We work exclusively with socially and environmentally-conscious small farmers, many of them women, in the Kodagu and Chikmagalur districts of Karnataka, in the Western Ghats of South India. These indigenous communities use traditional agricultural practices to grow and harvest coffee, including creating bio-organic inputs such as Panchagavya and Poochiverati. All of our packaging is plant-based, compostable, and fully biodegradable.Read their story
