Clean-burning and non-toxic candles with custom blended scents. Ārya Tārā Candles was launched in 2021 by Merve Colpan, a graduate of the world-famous perfumery school ISIPCA in France. Our candles aim to create an exceptional olfactive scenery in your space with their unique scents designed and blended by our founder. We aim to evolve our selection over time and offer a wide range of fragrance families as candle scents within our brand. We use high quality, FDA-approved and sustainably sourced natural coconut-apricot wax, premium fragrances and lead-free, zinc-free cotton wicks in our candles. We are also paraben, phthalate and gluten free. Our products are made in small batches and hand poured in Tucson, Arizona. The name of our company and brand comes from the goddess of Tibetan Buddhism, Arya Tara. She is known to be the first female to become a Buddha despite being advised to pray to be reborn as a man so she could become one. Her determination and pioneership is a great source of inspiration for us.
