Charming and whimsical watercolour critters and nature. The Critter Co brings together two loves of art and nature. Originally being inspired by Victorian storybooks like Peter Rabbit, The Critter Co has kept that feeling of nostalgia and modernized it. Constantly noticing nature, animals, and all the little details means there is no shortage of inspiring scenes to create. About the Artist: Rachel here 👋, I started The Critter Co (formerly Blossom & Sweetpea Critter Co) in 2014 after discovering a love of watercolour. Having spent much of my art training focusing on acrylic and graphite, watercolour was a new way to explore my love of nature, animals, and even everyday items. I love creating a narrative about the critters I paint and I find energy and inspiration in the stories that seem to accompany each illustration. I get a lot of enjoyment from my critter creations and I hope you’ll find enjoyment in my illustrations as well! Read their story
