Launched in 2020 during the pandemic and social justice movements, Solana is the culmination of Founder Yasmine Idriss' life story and her mission to inspire others to create a cleaner, more culturally-aware world. Yasmine is American, Lebanese, Saudi, and Syrian, and has experienced questions of identity and the realities of division her whole life. Her goal with Solana is to inspire curiosity in cultures through a unique and beautiful shoe. She believes the world will begin to heal when people care for the planet, celebrate differences, and open conversations about togetherness.
