About Rossi 1931

Rossi 1931, formerly “Cartotecnica Rossi”, is a family-run company, founded in 1931 by Antonio Rossi and currently managed by the third generation. Initially, the production consisted of precious decorative papers (mainly Florentine paper or also called “Florence paper” and Varese paper) and traditional Florentine tickets, very popular in communities Americans and Brits who lived in Tuscany. The proximity of Florence with its beauty, art and cosmopolitanism was of great importance for the company's development. Rooted in tradition but open to the world and to innovative ideas, over the years the company has become a modern factory that now produces a wide range of paper items: gift cards, writing paper, greeting cards for every occasion, notebooks and diaries, gift items and much more. Over the years, many designs have changed, what has not changed is the high quality of all the components and products themselves, the great care taken in the study and creation, in production and in pack. It is in our factory in Borgo San Lorenzo (Mugello), near Florence, that the synthesis of creativity, craftsmanship and technical skill becomes reality.
