Pepper Place makes handcrafted leather bags (from deadstock leather) and small batch clothing made to last. We believe what you wear should be made to fit you and your lifestyle and not the other way around. SMALL BATCH CLOTHING MADE TO LAST — We believe in making and curating clothing that is high quality, comfortable and designed in a way that can be worn season after season. Our clothing is manufactured in our overseas factories that we trust and have worked with for years. HANDCRAFTED BAGS, MADE IN CALIFORNIA — All of our bags are made in Northern California by a team of 4 crafts people—the owner and her husband and a husband and wife team that work from their own shop. All of our bags are few of a kind and made to order. WE USE DEADSTOCK LEATHER — Deadstock leather is leather that is leftover from other manufacturing and industry. What that means is you get a high quality bag without creating additional manufacturing waste. We also love using veg tan leathers which are tanned with a more eco friendly process. WE DON’T LIKE LEFTOVERS — Throwing away leather is hard. Like, really hard. We have intentionally designed our leather goods so by the time we are done with a hide there is virtually no waste.Read their story
