Julie graduated from Fashion Design but ended up working in retail banking. Her passion became reality when her future husband strolled into the bank she was working at and swept her off her feet. She immigrated to the USA from Canada, to be with him. Upon her arrival he told her to follow her passion. Split Rail Leather was born when she found herself living in Texas. Julie's creations are made from the highest quality leathers and hardware. Each step of the process is done solely by her. She designs, cuts and sews each piece one at a time in her studio. Her designs are simple and timeless, and will appeal to a wide variety of people that are looking for a bag to last a lifetime. Or a very unique gift for a special person. Julie is constantly researching and educating herself to create the best quality leather goods around.
