In 2014, I embarked on a remarkable journey that would lead to the establishment of Core Hemp in Nepal. My vision was fueled by a passion for sustainable agriculture, environmental conservation, and the immense potential of hemp as a versatile crop. This endeavor would not only revolutionize the agricultural landscape but also contribute to the socio-economic development of Nepal. Recognizing the historical significance of hemp in Nepal's culture and economy, I saw an opportunity to revive its cultivation and utilization. Hemp, scientifically known as Cannabis sativa, has been cultivated in the region for centuries, providing valuable resources for textiles, medicine, and other applications. However, due to various factors, its cultivation had diminished over time. Motivated by the global interest in hemp's resurgence as an eco-friendly and multi-purpose crop, I conducted extensive research on its benefits and potential markets. I was captivated by its environmentally friendly characteristics, such as its ability to grow rapidly without the need for pesticides or excessive water. Additionally, hemp's strong fibers and medicinal properties made it an appealing choice for numerous industries. Equipped with knowledge and a strong determination, I set out to establish Core Hemp in Nepal. This venture was not without its challenges.
