Welcome to your new favorite hobby! Hi, I'm Sarah! I learned how to knit in middle school and have been hooked ever since. Knitting is one of my favorite ways to relax and it's known to have meditative benefits! You need both hands to knit, so it's a great excuse to put down your phone and unwind. Before the pandemic, I hosted in-person knitting workshops locally. In 2020, I launched two knit kits tied to step-by-step how to videos with the hope that they would bring some comfort to people quarantined at home. Since then, I have added additional knit kits and yarn colors to the collection. The Smoke & Slate Knit Kits contain materials supporting small businesses locally and across the world. The merino wool is sourced from family owned farms in Peru and Yorkshire, UK, the kits are designed by a woman-owned graphic design business based in Minnesota and the faux fur pom poms are handmade in Colorado!
