About Sawako: The Stylish Helmets

Passionate about design, style, and fashion, Japanese designer Sawako Furuno creates beautiful, elemental helmets to accompany stylish cyclists on their daily adventures. Sawako designed the first SF collection in 2010, after being unable to find a helmet she dared to wear whilst cycling around London. She used her skills as a designer and an architect to make something chic for cyclists around the world. The tactile designs are inspired by traditional patterns of her Japanese heritage, bold animal prints, and quintessentially British fashions. Sawako is a mother of 2 kids, which inspired her to launch the kids range in 2021. Read their story
