About Young Mountain Tea
I started Young Mountain Tea with a promise--if a cooperative of Himalayan farmers would grow tea, I’d buy everything they made. Since then, we’ve been working to create sustainable communities through exceptional tea. Our mission is to develop a market that raises up emerging tea makers, creating vibrant mountain economies and healthy lands. Our collection is exclusively single-origin, organic, loose-leaf teas made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. We direct source all these teas from 850 farmers spread across five regions in India and Nepal. We would love to work with you to introduce the next wave of Indian and Nepali teas into the US, and, in the process, drive social and environmental change for the tea industry. Cheers! -Raj
