Jan’s Farmhouse produces seven varieties of all natural and GMO-free fruited crisps chock full of nuts, seeds and fruits, perfect for accompanying cheeses, charcuterie boards or as just a snack out of the box. Jan’s Crisps can be found in many of the country’s finest cheese and specialty food stores or the deli/cheese departments of many grocers. The company’s first and “Original” flavor, the Cranberry Pistachio, won a Gold at the SOFI Awards and continues as the company’s most popular product. Founded in 2011 in Stowe, Vermont, the company is now located near Boston and is owned and managed by the mother/daughter combination of Paige and Caroline Leavitt. The company produces in its own 10,000 sq ft third party certified baking facility. At the beginning of 2020, Jan’s introduced five new flavors, and the on-trend Truffle Crisp and Everything Crisp found immediate success with many retailers. These flavors, and the Original Cranberry Pistachio and Salted Almond Crisps can be found throughout cheese shops across America and even into the Caribbean. An increased focus on healthy eating and authentic ingredients has fueled the rise of artisan crackers, with their focus on traditional, healthy ingredients, exquisite flavors and hand-made, small batches.
