About LANA

LANA began in 1987, a decade in which polyester only flourished, especially in children's clothing. Hermann Kohnen and Anne Classen-Kohnen were, however, convinced that their three children should wear plastic-free natural fiber clothing. The decision was followed by an unsuccessful search, which was inventive and ended with the courageous purchase of its own knitting machine. However, word quickly spread among friends and acquaintances, the interest of others grew, the fits and cuts became more sophisticated and the cellar became a small Retail with the name LANA natural textiles. Today, LANA is a renowned company that is characterized by its 35-year history. The innovative and sustainable idea of producing ecologically and socially fair fashion was only seen by a few competitors at this time. The founding couple has thus made a significant contribution to establishing today's production of sustainable fashion on the fashion market. With its collections, which are developed twice a year, LANA is still an established brand on the sustainable market today and is also taking the path in the conventional sector to carry on its ideas and ideologies.
