Our mission here at Sixth Day Snacks is to offer healthy, yummy snacks everyone can enjoy! So, we invite you to come taste and see how good life is! Our story began on a cold December day back in 2013, as I (Dawn) found myself sitting in a small doctor’s office being told the words no one ever wants to hear - “you have cancer.” In the five (5) years following, I endured a seemingly endless schedule of surgeries, appoingments, treatments, scans, isolation, and more. Fast forward to late 2018, I had my BIG milestone scan and finally got to hear the sweet words – “ALL CLEAR.” But while it was a huge relief to finally conquer cancer, our family was still burdened with the mountain of bills from years of battling it. So, filled with a weird combination of frustration and hope, I came up with a side (or Sixth Day) project to sell the healthy, yummy snacks that I had been making for my own family for years. I shared my personal mission with my family and friends and through social media and within just a few short weeks’ time had earned enough to pay the bills off IN FULL! But the demand for our snacks kept coming (and increasing) even after the bills were paid. So, at the beginning of 2019, we formed our little family business - Sixth Day Snacks! And we now offer a full line of restaurant-style salsas in differing heats, uniquely-flavored hummus, as well as sweetly-satisfying granola bites and guilty pleasures like candied and pickled jalapeños!Read their story
