About Lama Loco

Lama Loco was born from my return to the roots in Bolivian soil in 2018. My mother is from this beautiful country, I grew up with this dual culture and I was lucky enough to go there regularly when I was younger to visit my family. It's been 20 years since I returned, and in 2018 it was the summer of reunion, rich in emotions but also in discoveries! One of my cousins brought me to a small private store of the Diabla brand in the heart of the city of Tarija in Bolivia. I was immediately captivated by the articles made with traditional aguayo that were presented to me (handbag, bracelets, necklaces...). Another shop another discovery, the Luis Yeske brand still in Tarija. Étnico chic style items with aguayo pieces (t-shirts, shirts, jewelry...). I was surprised by the creativity of these young Bolivian designers, who know how to combine modernity, traditional fabric and cultural symbols to offer high quality products! My project with Lama Loco is to make you travel to Bolivian soil through articles rich in cultural tradition. Read their story
