Girl Ran Away was born out of creator Erin Thormodsgard’s love for old things and a need to create. It started back in 2006 with a few tools and only a couple styles of jewelry. It has grown steadily and organically over the last few years into a full time passion. It started out with one girl and her spoon and continues to adapt and grow with new “Spoon Sisters” joining the crew. It has been home-grown from a front porch studio, to an office space and eventually to the biggest adventure yet a full working studio and retail shop. There are many facets to Girl Ran Away including an online shop, numerous art shows throughout the year, wholesale accounts all over the US, and the flagship shop in the heart of Miles City, MT.
