About Around the Bobbin

Welcome to Around the Bobbin! I started as a bag pattern designer and started selling to quilt shops in 2011. Time flies and my business grew over the years. In 2018, I had an idea to combine silicone with cotton quilting fabric and introduced silicone sewing kits for customers to create their own custom silicone oven mitts, trivets, and mug rugs as well as baby sensory toys. The kits include the instructions, templates and silicone to make the project, and customers can pick out the fabrics they want to use. I love designing and creating sewing projects and am so glad you've found me.
