About Green Room

Green Room provides natural, low-waste, multi-purpose, and travel-friendly skin and haircare for adventurous and eco-conscious beauty consumers. We offer solutions to problems in the personal care industry such as excessive plastic waste, elaborate and unnecessary skin and haircare routines, fearful marketing tactics, and greenwashing. The idea to start Green Room was born on a Baja surf trip living in our camper van. Showering in the ocean and living without proper waste management infrastructure (AKA hanging a plastic bag on the armrest of the driver seat and emptying it at the next gas station) meant we were hyper-aware of what we were putting into the environment and living very closely with our garbage. The phrase “There is no ‘away’” was very real for us. And so, the need sustainably packaged and travel-friendly body care was recognized. The underlying motto behind Green Room is “less is more”. The best thing about being your own target market is knowing exactly what you want from your favourite brand. For others who would also rather keep their routines simple, travel light, and achieve salon-quality results for from only a handful of products, Green Room delivers just that.
