About Charlie

Hi, my name is Misty. I'm a designer and maker of leather bags + accessories. I fell into this creative outlet several years ago by joining a weekend workshop to make my own minimalist leather tote bag... and well, I fell in love with the process to say the least. Since then it's been a wild, meaningful adventure. You can expect each article from Charlie to be handmade by my own two hands, tediously created with the idea of functionality and longevity as well as reflecting simplicity and timelessness. Who’s Charlie? My Father, Chuck (Charlie) was a blue collar worker through and through. He was a man of few words. Gritty. A man of mechanics that had showed the highest level of loyalty that I ever knew, which is impressive given his very rough and difficult upbringing. He was a slender man with a tough exterior who lived and breathed rock and roll. A McQueen who stood cool, worked hard, and lived life unapologetically. A true blue. When I named my brand, I wanted it to represent something close to my heart, and that was my dad. Read their story
