About Atelier Tréma
Atelier Tréma was born in 2004 with Marie-Joël Turgeon, a graduate in visual and media arts at UQAM. Inspired by her summers spent in the Maritimes and the American East Coast, she created ceramic pictorial works for several years. In 2014, with her husband Jordan Lentink, they needed a change and decided to make a small collection of everyday tableware, always inspired by these same seascapes. Their collection evokes the horizon, and borrows the textures of ancient objects, found on the beach that have been worn by salt, wind and sun. Now based in the heart of the Eastern Townships, the couple still work passionately with clay and now have three other collections, but this time inspired by the chosen place that surrounds them. With their small team, they make everyday, practical and timeless objects, just like the ancient places full of history in their chosen region. They found roots in Bedford, where a shop, a small café, and a family of artisans were born.

I'm really pleased with our order! I met this artist years ago and purchased a number of gifts for my wife. Was delighted to find them on faire so I could bring them into my shop. Everything is beautifully made. I really appreciated how carefully packaged everything was. If you would like these beautiful products in your shop, I recommend you order early, as it did take a while for the order to ship. I was happy when I got my order shipped a little bit earlier than their normal fulfilment time!
