Welcome to Saucy Sows, where flavor meets family tradition. What began as a homemade endeavor in a humble kitchen has flourished into a beloved condiment line spanning Logan County, Ohio, and beyond. Founded by Bellefontaine High School graduate Scott Scherer, Saucy Sows was born out of a desire to offer something unique to the culinary world. It all started with a single recipe – a sweet red and green bell pepper mustard crafted as an alternative to the standard spicy mustards saturating the market. Encouraged by the rave reviews from friends and family, Scherer embarked on a journey into the world of sauces, expanding his repertoire to include an array of tantalizing flavors. From the outset, quality has been paramount. What began as small-scale production in a Bowling Green area kitchen has evolved into a partnership with a trusted manufacturer dedicated to upholding Saucy Sows' commitment to excellence. Our product line has blossomed, boasting an array of mustard variations, horseradish sauces, barbecue glazes, and even honey barbecue pork jerky. Saucy Sows has become a staple in homes and eateries alike, gracing the tables of local diners and enhancing menu items at popular establishments like Don's Diner and Brewfontaine in Bellefontaine, OH, and the Inn Between in Botkins, OH.
