About Beca Beeby

Beca is a maker in the truest sense-her love of materials and experimenting is clear in her work and methods. Reclaimed silver, bronze and porcelain are used to produce truly unique items in a sustainable, ethical way. Her workshop in the Wye valley is solar powered, only natural and non toxic treatments are used (such as citric acid for cleaning), and her permaculture garden provide much of the inspiration and starting point of her work. Having originally trained in Fine art: Sculpture, Becas current work comes from a more delicate scale-Organically formed jewellery & sculptural ceramics inspired by microscopic and macro exploration of the natural world. Plants and insects form her main source of inspiration and awe, this is particularly clear in her Wild Honeycomb Collection, a true collaboration between human and insect: Beca keeps her bees Ethically and respectfully, never harvesting honey and using only the excess ‘edge-comb’ to form the start of her pieces.Read their story
