Although surrounded by big companies and high tech, we are proud to embrace small business over conglomeration, and people over profit. We are a small business that inspires values-driven women to say goodbye to empty consumerism and feel empowered to shop with heart through our alignment of product and principles: eco-friendly soy candles handcrafted by women who believe in the power of other women. Scented Designs began in our kitchen in 2016 where we hand poured small batches of soy candles for family and friends. They encouraged us to sell at a local craft show or two, and pretty soon we were selling at every pop-up and market we could find. Shoppers loved our soy candles and how long and clean they burned: each of our soy wax candles is generously scented with body-safe, phthalate-free fragrance oils infused with essential oils. Lead-free cotton wicks create a long, clean burn that will fill a room with fragrance for hours. Our candles can now be found in 50+ shops & gift boxes in the Bay Area and beyond. We've made thousands of candles for companies like PayPal for corporate gifts, and we've collaborated with a number of local businesses to create custom branded candles.
