Our CEO @tfiroz was never the outgoing type. Growing up there were challenges in life, but he was always determined to create something larger than himself. Something that would scare him, but worth fighting hard for. Three years ago, Chef Firoz took a leap of faith by quitting his full-time job and started his company Chef's Satchel?. This brand would not only change the way chefs and artisans were viewed but also how they feel. He wanted to create a brand that would help creators all around the ? feel confident in what they do. This is something that he didn’t have growing up and while working in restaurants of all over Canada. You can always find him locked up in his office spending hours on product development with the team and building meaningful relationships. His mantra never fails to leave - Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever ????? Working as a professional chef in the kitchen for over 8 years, I noticed a great need in storing all my knives in one compact space for which I needed to create a solution for not only me but all the chefs in the industry. We are a brand focused on style and simplicity keeping our customers in mind. Our bags are made to sustain the everyday hustle and bustle of daily travels. Our bags are made with heavy-duty ECO- friendly thick full-grain leather, making our bags last for a very long time.

Our aprons combine chef driven functionality and an fantastic aesthetics. A great value and a great purchase, for sure! My only suggestion is the back strap needs more adjustment in both directions… I am a lean chef and had to staple the back straps to get a good fit while one of my taller and more rotund cooks had to stretch the strap to the limit for a pretty tight fit. Other than that single critique I WILL buy again because my team looks sharp as hell in these aprons and all black!!!

Purchased product: Handmade Ash Linen Apron

This product is not 100% linen, it's only 30% linen and should be labeled as a cotton apron with some linen. If you check the actual tag of the apron is states 70% cotton and 30% linen, which left some very unhappy customers as well as myself.
