Starting with a microphone & a mission in 2019. Before Be less Petty became the stationery line it was a podcast—a space to talk about all the ways we waste our energy on overthinking & being underwhelmed. How we let the small stuff crowd our schedules, clutter our spaces, & drain our energy. Long before that podcast ever aired, I was already creating those tools—one hand-bound journal at a time. There's something sacred about paper, something that a screen just can't replicate. The weight of a page. The scratch of a pen on paper. I was obsessed. I still am. So I made journals, agendas, & planners that didn't just organize our days—they helped us organize what really matters: our unchecked thoughts. Let's be real: we're all human & sometimes we ARE petty. Sometimes we want to say the thing we know we shouldn't say.
