Call us "wacky", but we believe: -that kids deserve the opportunity to make things -that kids need to have the tools to turn their ideas into reality -that kids should be inspired to choose to playtime over screen time We're a dad and a mom of two separate tribes of imaginative kids who decided our inventive little rascals, ages 4-10, needed a way to create: no instructions, no batteries, no mess involved. Dad, Dale Parris (a jewelry designer who also moonlights as a youth soccer coach and Cub Scout leader for his children), came up with the concept. Wacky Links are DIY kits filled with soft colorful tubes and connectors that can be linked in an infinite number of ways to make everything from necklaces to backback decorations, to tabletop toys like dinosaurs and unicorns. Calling upon the energetic minds of his two children and nieces, Wacky links® went from prototype to the fun portable kits you see today! Mom, Vanessa Nornberg-Barey, (a sales maven who also teaches youth about entrepreneurship) began to think a lot about the quality of life she wanted her 5 year old to have, and knew it should involve sharing, working together, and building like the sky is the limit.
