About Soldaze Studio

Soldaze Studio is an independent jewelry studio based in San Diego, California. All jewelry is completely handmade by Brittany Corbett in a little home studio nestled under the palm trees. My silversmithing journey began during the height of the pandemic. I've always been a lover and collector of jewelry and was in search of something to ground me amongst all the chaos in the world at that time. I was on a walk with a friend, sharing this and she recommended I take metalsmithing classes. I went home that night, found a class and started the next week. From there, my little escape hobby grew into a business that I am grateful to say is now my full-time job. I've found over the years that my work is often an extension of my current state and environment. I am continuously inspired by the beauty and rarity of my surroundings whether through nature, my community, or my travels and try to encapsulate that beauty in each and every piece I make. I rarely plan or sketch out my work and instead let the stones and recent inspirations shape the pieces as I work on them. In 2024, through a need to grow roots in my local community and share my passion for jewelry, I started teaching private lessons and workshops. When I'm not teaching or creating, you can find me curled up with a good book and basking in the sun with my partner, Keylon and cat, Astra.Read their story
