About Beatriz Ball

Our designs are created with lifestyle in mind. Pieces are relevant, elevated, and beautiful, yet versatile and relaxed. Beatriz’s roots in design go back over four decades, when the Cuban-born designer, entrepreneur and tastemaker began working hand-in-hand with skilled metalware artisans on the outskirts of Mexico City, together creating updated, innovative designs in a special lustrous alloy of many metals. Our foundry in Mexico is dedicated to the manufacture of her own designs, employing of the best and most gifted artisans. Many have worked for us for over 20 years. In an intensely handmade process, craftsmen create each one of our metal pieces, one at a time, utilizing the same molding and casting methods the Greeks and Romans did thousands of years ago. Beatriz has developed her own metal alloy that resembles silver in color and luster requires no polishing and perfectly suited for today’s casual lifestyles. Beatriz also has expanded her metalware into colorful pieces with an enamel coating process that protects them while adding a lasting luster that survives for generations. All signature metalware products are made of sustainable, eco-friendly, and recycled materials. Beatriz has reimagined many of her iconic designs in luxury melamine, resin and acrylic, expanded her offerings to glass, linens, flatware, and placemats. Read their story
