In the old wine farm “Les Perlettes” are the workshop for the hands and the studio for Marie's ideas. Its ceramics evoke the work of wild earth, kneaded with water, dried in the air, fired in flames. Sometimes enamelled with ashes, sometimes smoky with oxides and minerals. She likes hand-to-hand with the elements, those that shape the potter and his work. Accomplished artist, specialist in the integration of matter into nature, a potter of heart and training, fascinated by the elements and the work of the earth, Marie Gueydon moved to Verfeuil in 2010. Between the Cevennes and Provence, she found an old half-abandoned wine farm that had to be completely transformed in order to accommodate the living place of her dreams, three houses, a permaculture garden and of course her workshop where she welcomes the curious and organizes internships.
