About Golden Banks Soapery

Golden Banks Soapery started when I had my first child. I was so conflicted about what to put on his skin as a newborn. I learned that conventional soaps were more akin to detergents, and that labels like "organic" did not necessarily mean they were gentle or had clean-ingredients. I needed a solution, so I made one. With my first soap bar I fell in love with the process. Soon, I had friends and family sharing my products -- they too loved them. Golden Banks then expanded to include other skincare and bath items like lotions, bath bombs & even household items like our Solid Dish Soaps. Concurrently, at six months of age, my son was diagnosed with a lifelong disability, Cerebral Palsy. We had, and still have, many doctors appointments, therapies and trials each and every week. Through it all Golden Banks has been my much needed creative outlet outside of being a full time mom. It allows me to innovate and gives me reprieve from our physically and mentally demanding schedule. I did not know at the time that my son, who was the inspiration for all of this, would give me something back equally as great as just being his mom. Golden Banks' mission is simple: to create good-for-you skincare with minimal high quality ingredients. The fun shapes, colors & scents are the cherry on top.
