About Les p'tites Apicultrices

Born in Belgium, from a common passion for nature and a crazy desire to reconnect with it, Les p'tites Apicultrices is a beautiful representation of the term "family business". Both working in fields that were badly affected by the COVID pandemic, my wife Bénédicte (a teacher) and I, Mickael (an entrepreneur in the event industry), embarked on a new professional, human and exciting adventure: we became professional beekeepers and developed Les p'tites Apicultrices, gourmet and innovative products, made with respect for the bees and other pollinators around. Local honey, surprising combinations of flavours (my favourite preparation is honey/Espelette chilli!), or a range of sweets so tempting that you'll want to try them all! With a training in beekeeping, I went from twenty hives to almost 200 in 2 years with a great and beautiful project in mind: serene bees, a respected environment, but above all a 100% family and local project. In addition to the technical and professional skills, I was able to pass on my passion and love for biodiversity to my two daughters, Lucie and Juliette. My little budding beekeepers are extremely proud to be at the origin of the brand's name and logo, and to be able to take care of our bees. And the bees are very proud of them!
