About Mom ‘n ‘em Coffee

In 2015, brothers Tony and Austin Ferrari — better known around town as The Ferrari Brothers — started dreaming up a way to return home to Cincinnati after years working in San Francisco. They wanted to build something for their mom, Theresa. Something fun, meaningful, and rooted in community. The first idea? A coffee bar inside an Airstream trailer. But after nearly three years of navigating city restrictions, the plan was denied. So they pivoted — buying a small house on the corner of Colerain and Bates Avenue in Camp Washington. That house became Mom ‘n ‘em Coffee. The name comes from a phrase they grew up hearing on local radio station 700 WLW — “How’s your mom ‘n ‘em doing?” Their dad listened daily, and the saying eventually stuck around the family. It felt right. Mom ‘n ‘em is a tribute to their mother, Theresa Ferrari — a woman who raised her kids with love and grit, even when there wasn’t much to go around. The café became a way for Tony and Austin to give back to her, while helping shape one of Cincinnati’s most unique and overlooked neighborhoods. Today, Mom ‘n ‘em roasts its own coffee and has two locations in Cincinnati. The shops serve pastries, breakfast, espresso, tea, tinned fish, natural wines, and a few thoughtful cocktails. More than anything, they serve as places to slow down, hang out, and feel at home. Come by and see how Mom ‘n ‘em is doing ❣️ Cheers, Tony & Austin
