About Calming Collective

Katie is mom to (now) four boys! In 2013 while working in investements, she felt the need to spend more time with her kids, specifically her oldest that often struggled with learning and social disabilities. With the support of her family, she opened an etsy shop making blankets and other baby necessities. Shortly after opening her shop, a friend suggested adding weighted blankets to her product line. For four years, weighted blankets monopolized her shop. In that time she has gained a reputation of a mastering fabric pairings and creating high quality products. Recently, Katie has added complementing accesories and even brought back her original baby and family needs and necessity items. Read their story
