The World's Coolest Rain Gauge® is a happy combination of science and style. Based on the Archimedean Principle of water displacement, my rain gauges are practical, fun and very cool. I make these ingenious gauges in the New York's beautiful Hudson Valley. I source most of my materials from other small, US-based suppliers who have helped me build a small but mighty business around a product that measures rain, an event that not everyone loves but a surprising number of people like to measure. Wow, the ship date was in November, I'm sitting here with my order two weeks ahead of time :) Came securely packaged with each box nicely labeled. Customers can wrap this up as is—just such a novel idea on a traditional weather instrument, artistic, and made in the USA. Sure we focus on meteorological instrumentation, but i know several weather enthusiasts who would buy this in a heartbeat. Expect this to be a big seller for peak season!
