Passionate about the world of fashion since our childhood, we are two sisters who have a great interest in noble and natural materials. This is how silk came into our project. It is also a continuation of the know-how of our grandmother who sewed silk. Designed by hand, it is through unique and authentic designs that we reinvent the French silk square. MITAT was born from a brotherly love and draws its inspiration from Occitan origins whose etymology means the “half”. A story that reflects the union of two sisters forming a whole and complementary relationship. An origin that can be transposed to the eco-responsible values that we want to transmit to our customers as well as future project leaders using less and better raw material. MITAT is a brand, but above all a project with strong sustainable values.
