I'm Sarah of Mountains of Thread. I've been an embroidery artist for seven years now; everything you see is made by me from start to finish. I draw my inspiration for my embroideries from the southwest and Texas landscapes and aim for each piece to send off a positive message whether it's to show appreciation to nature or appreciation to yourself and others through pieces that serve as little reminders to be your best self. My embroidery kits have been huge hits and I'm honored that I've had a hand in introducing so many people to this new calming craft, especially during these uncertain times. I am based in the greater Austin area with my three children.
