Hi! I'm Madison and I'm the owner and founder of Candles by Madison. I started making candles when I was in 3rd grade and my passion only grew. In 2013, between my 10th and 11th grade years of high school I founded Candles by Madison and began selling in my local area. Today, I am a college graduate, married, own a home, and successfully run a handmade candle business out of the basement in our home. Candles have played a huge role in my life for over a decade and the main reason I love selling and making candles is because candles spread feelings. From the moment you smell it and it gives you a memory or reminds you of someone or something or when you light it after you've had a hard day at work. There's something about a candle that just spreads feelings. Maybe it's the smell that spreads throughout your house, or the flicker of the flame as if the candle is alive. A candle can be comfort, cozy, love.. it's a feeling and it's there to give whatever feeling you might need. It's a friend in the dark.
