Too often, cards are carefully chosen, written with care, and then thrown away within days. Only 25% of greeting cards are recycled, meaning the vast majority are used once and end up in landfill or incinerated. That doesn't sit right with us. The idea for Remail emerged in 2023 from a simple question: what if greeting cards were designed to be reused? By rethinking the interior of the card, we created a format that encourages recipients to pass it on, turning a traditionally single-use product into something more circular and long-lasting. Today, Remail collaborates with a growing roster of independent designers to create considered, sentiment-led cards designed with reuse in mind.
