Hi, I'm Stephanie! Wife, mum, entrepreneur and conscious consumer, I always pay attention to what I buy (I'm capable of spending 2 hours at the supermarket just reading labels). But, strangely enough, when it came to my period, I continued to buy tampons every month without much thought. But when the day came around, and I needed to help my pre-teen daughter choose the right period protection for her, something clicked. It was time to dig deeper. I realized that not only were pads and tampons not doing any favours to the environment, but the composition of these products was dubious to say the least. Nothing about them was in line with the way we lived our lives. And quite honestly, they are neither practical nor particularly comfortable, especially when you're first getting to grips with your period. I became more and more interest in the idea of washable period protection and it brought back memories of the super absorbent - and super FR - postpartum underwear. But a giant adult nappy wasn't the answer... and that's how I got the idea for a new generation of period underwear!Read their story
