Lotus Chips are part of my own “roots” in Japan, where they are known as “Renkon” Chips. Renkon is the root of the lotus flower, known as a symbol of hope, resilience, serenity, and purity. Good Roots company is rooted in two locations: San Francisco, where the company produces and distributes its products; and Japan, the source of many key ingredients and the inspiration for these snack chips. I grew up in Japan and had lotus chips for special occasions.
