Hi, I'm Katie, and I am a crochet addict, sewing machine junkie, computer nerd, and most importantly, a Mom.  Like many little girls, my Grandma was the one who taught me how to do all things crafty. I swear, if it could be made from fabric, yarn, or thread that woman could make it! As a kid, I remember her house being littered with bags and baskets of her latest WIPs. Now, as an adult, I am following in her footsteps, because as my husband would say, "There are bags everywhere!"  I studied Advertising in college at Central Michigan University, and it is there that I had my first graphic design course. That was all it took and I was hooked. Now, I combine my love for crafty things with my love for the computer to create my own line of greeting cards, stickers, and soon magnets and pins! In December 2020, my husband and I welcomed our first baby boy, Theo into our lives. Late last year we welcomed a couple twins, Edward and Caroline, to our family. I went from working seven days a week at our business, MI Market Suttons Bay, and running ToadilyKate Designs, to being a stay-at-home-mom. I thought, how am I going to make this work? How can I possibly keep this going and take care of an infant? But we make it work? Read their story
