About Terre di Scirocco

Terre di Scirocco was founded in 1999 in Naples from the meeting between Annalisa Testa's passion for art and Gennaro "Rino" Borriello's creative vision. Without a family tradition in ceramics, the two founders built an original artistic language from scratch, blending Italian craftsmanship heritage with a contemporary aesthetic. After the first years spent in a small workshop, in 2006 they moved to a larger space, where they refined a distinctive style that combines innovative shapes, bright colors, and refined materials. Their creations, such as modular nativity scenes inspired by Lego bricks, transform traditional objects into playful and interactive experiences. Terre di Scirocco has participated in national and international fairs, including Maison&Objet in Paris, Ambiente in Frankfurt, and VEBO in Naples, where it won first prize in 2016. Today, the company continues to innovate, integrating technologies such as 3D printing and digital painting, and promotes artistic craftsmanship through the MA.DE foundation, in collaboration with local and academic institutions. Each piece is handcrafted, with variations that ensure its uniqueness.
