After the debut of her 1st official collection in 2014 to great reviews, Catherine Addai has grown the brand to great heights. Though brand uses mostly printed fabrics called Ankara (industrially produced cotton cloths with batik printing predominant in Ghana, West Africa, Catherine Addai’s native country), the styles and colors transcend cultures and are presented in way of inclusion for all. Known for creative, eye catching pieces, the brand often mixes the Ankara prints with stripes and solids for really unique pieces that have garnered brand recognition.
