About Edit Juhasz Ceramics

My name is Edit Juhasz and I am a Hungarian born ceramicist-designer, living and working in London. I have been throwing pots and tableware for over 30 years. Early in my life I saw a documentary about a master potter and was instantly mesmerised by watching him work. In that moment I knew I wanted to be a potter! Ever since then I have worked hard to master throwing and gain as much experience as possible. I have worked for many successful ceramics studios and artists. Over 20 years ago I started to focus on my own work and establishing myself as a contemporary ceramicist. Today, I sell to shops, restaurants and gallery’s in the UK and abroad. My work is my passion, and I feel incredibly privileged to do what I love every single day. Designing and creating tactile ceramics for people to use and enjoy in their everyday life inspires me.Read their story
