About ImaginART Mats (Reusable Silicone Coloring Mats)

ImaginART Mats started with a simple (and slightly terrifying) parenting moment. One day, my kids grabbed a marker and started drawing all over their silicone placemat. I thought it was ruined — until I wiped it clean. That’s when the idea clicked. What if a food-grade silicone mat could actually be an activity? I created ImaginART Mats to turn everyday moments — restaurants, travel, waiting rooms, or the kitchen table — into creative playtime. Kids can color directly on the mat, wipe it clean, and start again and again. Designed by a mom and inspired by my own children, our mats are made from FDA food-grade silicone, are non-toxic, reusable, and incredibly easy to clean. Each design also hides a small alien named Comet, created by my then 6-year-old son, turning every mat into a fun little game of hide-and-seek.
