Barrier Islands Salt Co. handcrafts pure sea salt from the East Coast's last wilderness, the 130,000 acre Virginia Coast Reserve. We journey by boat to the deep Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia's barrier islands to collect pure, crystal clear sea water, then use centuries old methods to transform it into sea salt.
